Hi, I’m Anusha! This blog represents the home that I share with my husband Michael — Fish & Bull are the animals of our astrology signs, Pisces and Taurus.
I graduated college with a degree in Drawing & Painting – yes, that’s a real degree 😉 After years of working as an administrative assistant I was feeling totally uninspired and stuck so I started the Fish & Bull blog in 2015. I lost my job shortly after and it sparked something in me to dive into what I love to do; blending the art of handcrafting with modern and colorful home decor. Oh, and Anthopologie hacks.
Growing up without a lot of money, I watched my mom decorate our home from scratch. Everything from sewing throw pillows to bedsheets with ruffles. She instilled in me this lesson that I hope to share with you:
Your home can be beautiful too. You don’t need to have a lot of time, money or creativity to love it.
Now I balance my day job with blogging, including as a DIY contributor for Martha Stewart.

- We love travelling: we’ve been to Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and along the California coast. Someday I would love to visit Italy, France and Sri Lanka (where my family is from).
