If you’re on Pinterest, you may have seen a cleaning spray that is literally made with two ingredients: white vinegar and blue dawn soap. That’s it. I can’t take credit for the DIY Magic Cleaning Spray (as it’s called in my home) but I had to share it with those that haven’t tried it yet. Some Pinterest hacks are hit or miss but the DIY Magic Cleaning Spray is one that I use to clean my mirrors, bathroom counter, bathtub, coffee table and pretty much every flat surface in my home. I’ve used it for the past year on everything. There’s nothing wrong with regular glass cleaner but the DIY Magic Cleaning Spray is super versatile. It actually cuts through kitchen grease and grime after a messy pasta sauce dinner unlike anything I’ve tried before. Who knew I’d be this excited about a cleaning product?! Who am I?
If you’re looking for a glass bottle to put it in, I found that using a glass bottle that fresh pressed juice comes in, works really well and a regular spray nozzle from the dollar store screws on perfectly tight. Since this spray is made with dish soap, if you have kids and dogs eating off countertops it may not be safe to use for tables and counters but you can still use it for your bathroom with great results!
